Types of Jobs

The Employment Permit System (EPS) is a government-to-government (G2G) program between South Korea and selected countries, including Bangladesh. It allows low- and medium-skilled workers to work legally in South Korea under the E-9 work visa.

The purpose of EPS is to:

  • Fill labor shortages in Korea
  • Protect foreign workers’ rights
  • Prevent illegal migration

EPS jobs are mainly physical and skill-based,
not office work. Main sectors include:

  • Manufacturing (factory work, assembly, packaging, welding)
  • Construction (building, roads, materials handling)
  • Shipbuilding & heavy industry
  • Fisheries (deep-sea & coastal)
  • Agriculture

EPS workers cannot do office jobs, freelancing, business, or app-based delivery work.

Language:

TOPIK Level 1-2 recommended, basic Korean communication is essential for daily work and safety

Do you enjoy building, assembling, or working with machinery? Korea’s manufacturing sector seeks skilled workers ready to contribute to production lines and industrial projects across the country.
Skill Focus: Machine operation, assembly, quality control, welding, packaging, basic maintenance

Are you skilled with tools or construction projects? Korea’s construction industry needs motivated workers for building, renovation, and infrastructure projects throughout the country. Skill Focus: Bricklaying, carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical installation, machinery operation
Do you have hands-on experience with crops, livestock, or horticulture? Korea’s agricultural sector welcomes workers to help maintain farms, greenhouses, and fisheries efficiently. Skill Focus: Crop cultivation, livestock care, greenhouse management, irrigation, harvesting techniques
Are you comfortable working on boats or handling livestock? Korea’s fisheries and livestock sector seeks dedicated workers for fish processing, aquaculture, and animal care.
Skill Focus: Fishery handling, aquaculture, animal feeding, processing and packaging, safety practices.

Visa for Language Students (D-4)

The D-4 visa is required for long-term Korean language study.
